It's familiar, but just different enough to feel unique among the rest. So, Grand Prix Story is yet another excellent addition to Kairosoft's release library. It can be a little annoying to attempt to choose an option multiple times, but it's nothing game-breaking. Kairosoft took the App Store by storm (as well as an app could, anyway) a while back with the release of Game Dev Story a game in which players run their own video game company.They followed it up a bit later with Hot Springs Story, which had less nerd-appeal but offered more simulation options and was every bit as tough to stop playing. The only real complaint I can level at Grand Prix Story is that sometimes the menu buttons don't register properly. Of course, watching cars and components gain experience from race-to-race is also a big driving factor.
